MY SONG!

I'm lonely and there isn't a place for me here,
I'm stuck here maybe I'll try to escape,
but there isn't any way hey hey hey hey hey!

I just want to be a friend to everyone,
but it's hard because everyone likes different things!

Nobody wants to be my friend, I don't know why,
maybe sometimes I should do things differently,
and maybe my friends should try to listen to me.

PS I actually have lots of wonderful friends, I just felt like writing a song.

My Jazz Dance Exam!

I did a Jazz exam on Sunday, I had lots of fun! The first part we had to practise before we went out to the exam. The exam teacher was called Mrs MaClinchy. She said I had a wonderful smile which made me feel proud and happy. I got a yellow rosette and now I have two, a purple one and a yellow one. I passed which was great.

My favourite dance was the one where I was tapping my foot with my hat on in the picture above. It was my favourite because we had really hip hoppy music to it and I like dancing to the hip hop style it makes me feel great inside.

I practised in Christchurch because we took the CD on holiday, the CD was quite good to listen to in the car as our family all liked the songs.

Everybody liked my dance even my Nanna and Robbie did. My Mum thought I did fantastic even though she didn't get to watch me she some how new from my big smile. She wrote on my blackboard "Your a great dancer", she writes on my blackboard quite often and write back to her sometimes. It is a cool thing we do, I call her Mamma Mia at the moment!

Shark Fun!

I zoomed out of the door looking frantic worrying that I wouldn't be there on time. When I got there I saw a small still orange on the roof......it was unusual.

Then we went in, we saw a golden fish swimming along the water. The spotted fish was down the bottom of the tank and I thought it was lonely.

When we got in the pool we slithered down the hydro slide, I slid down with Ava. It was fun and we played sharks with Trev, he was the shark. I won a prize, it was some goggles.

I had a FANTASTIC birthday!

I am very PROUD of Mikayla and Ava my friends because they got first and second place! Even though I didn't get first place I still said well done to them, I was a little bit disappointed though that I didn't come first. I thought about it though and felt happier after my sausage and that was when I congratulated them!

I now understand how they must feel in the Olympics, Sara Walker must have felt the same as me when she didn't get a medal (she is a BMX rider). She probably trained harder than I did though.

I realised it is important to keep trying your best and to be the sort of friend who says well done to people.

I had an AWESOME time though because running in it was cool and I had a T-shirt on that had stars all over it and my Mum, Dad and family name as they sponsored me for the run.

My 8th Birthday!!

I had a wonderful time at my 8th birthday party at the pool. It was family fun day and Trev form 89.4 got all of my friends to sing over the microphone to me. They were embarrassed they said to me. I felt funny inside when they were singing to me.

The birthday cake was wonderful one bit of it was a basketball court from high school musical and the other bit was a pool.

We played high school musical games when we got back home where we had to guess who said what line in the movie. It was hard a little bit sometimes. We also played statues and danced. We also played a game where you had to hum the tune and the others had to guess, it was easy!!

I also had a family whanua tea that night, we always have them on our birthdays where all of our family come together and eat, laugh and play.

Some of my friends couldn't come so I had another special time for them at the pool on a Friday night and came home for fish and chips.

Tily!

My baby cousin Tily has brown eyes like chocolate and she sleeps like an angel.

When she crawls she looks like a cat and when I play with her she laughs like a happy child.

After Tily has a bath, her skin is as soft as a snake skin and when she gets out of the bath and we dry her, she wriggles like a wriggly worm.

I love her so much!!

Funny Fantastic Holiday!!

If you could only be where I was on my holiday adventure,
you would have so much fun - as I did!

Cat purring sounded like a contented Tiger - Thomas was his name
Jumping pillows, entertaining us all.

In Hanmer the sky was like a dazzling light, so beautiful that you could fall asleep just watching it.

Snow on the mountains the thickest I have ever seen, it sparkled like lightening and snow angels we were.

Off we went on the horses my horse was called Lucky, that was Lucky for me.

Here I heard the feet trotting on the floor, we went through the swishing river and clumped and slipped over the snow.

On the Village Cruisers pedal bikes, having fun going slow as slow as a turtle, it was hard to steer I got to steer and out of control I went.

It was a SPECTACULAR holiday, one I will remember until I am an old Granny!

Here is an acrostic poem for you all on the Night at the Library musical. I was a main part dancers, you can see me down the front sitting, I am wearing blue.

Magical Library
Interesting dances
Dancing on the floor vibrating us more and more
Nice Clapping
Interesting tapping on the ground went the shoes

HSM was our special dance
The books came alive at night what a magical sight

Lying lazy on the ground
Enjoying lying in the sun
Apples growing on the leaf eating tree
Furry, spikey, colourful leaves.

Leaves rushing through the ground,
Nearly sweeping me away.

One fell right in my face.

The Forest Adventure!

It was past my bedtime. I looked outside my window. I looked at the peaceful forest. It was unusual because the animals were usually noisy. I looked up at the castle and saw the lights were off. They were normally on.
"Aaah!" somebody screamed and it came from the forest. I ran into the forest.
"Wow" I whispered to myself, "this place is magic."
"Aaah!"
I heard it again. I raced towards it. I saw a screaming unicorn, that was unusual, a screaming unicorn.
I shouted to the unicorn "What are you doing?"
"Sorry if I disturbed you but I was practising neighing."
"Well, a scream is a funny neigh."
Soon I heard a 'ribbit ribbit plop'. I rushed towards it and looked up and saw a frog with a wizard hat on and a scaly silky costume. It turned around. I saw it's goobly eyes and it greeted me.
"Did I frighten you?" I asked
"You sure did!"
"Oh sorry, anyway, what are you doing?"
" I am making wombat stew with worms and sludge in it too."
"Ooh." I said, "That's disgusting."
"No it is actually quite nice, would you ike to try some?"
"No way"
I wondered what I was going to see now. Something scooped me up. It was a bat, a scaly, black bat. It grabbed me and dropped me on it's nest. It landed on its nest and introduced itself.
"Hello, hello, hello" I shouted. I asked him what his name was.
He replied that his name was Betsokay. I thought his name was cool and Betsokay inroduced his friends to me. Their names were Rex and Pumpkin. he also inroduced his kitten and told me her name was Oolah. I thought she was very cute.
However, Betsokay told me that the kitten was going to die because she would not drink. Oolah needed a new owner. I decided to be her new owner. Betsokay told me she needed lots of cuddles and liked going to bed at night time.
When I got back it was still night, because time had stood still while I was away.
In the morning I showed my kitten to my Mum and Mum asked me where I got her.
I replied "The pet shop of course!"
