Japan Skype call

We had a skype call with our japanese buddies today. We had to tell them about things that were special to New Zealand that they might not have in Japan. I chose Weetbix!

Here is my speech in English and Japanese...

ニュージーランドでは、我々は朝食を持っているweetbixしています。彼らは非常にサクサクです。あなたは牛乳や自らでそれらを持つことができます。すべてのパックでは、いくつかのラグビーカードがあります。

In New Zealand we have weetbix which we have for breakfast. They are very crunchy. You can have them with milk or by themselves. In every pack there are some rugby cards.

CAMP FUN 2010

I had so much fun at camp we went kayaking and did a night walk with blind folds on. It was scary but fun, we also did a amazing race my group was called the jumping skittles. We had to do skits they are mini plays, my groups skit was dancing with the stars. Ava, Abby and I were the dancing divas in our skit. It was awesome, my dad came too we did heaps of fun stuff and there were three classes altogether.

My HOIDAY IN WANAKA. It was so fun!

We went to the war birds. Gabe my brother loved it, we got to try on helmets that people use on planes. The planes did amazing tricks and we got some candy floss yum yum and then we went back to the camping ground. At the camping ground we had a swim it was freezing cold, it has three water slides. The next day we went to see some paintings and sculptures they were so cool. Then finally it was easter morning, I got a huge easter egg. We got up went to the park I got so dizzy on all the dizzy spinny things it was so fun. It was so hot so we dipped our feet in the water, then it was time to go back to Dunedin it was a great holiday!

Melbourne and the Gold Coast!!!

MY HOLIDAY AT THE GOLD COST AND MELBOURNE WE HAD A GREAT TIME ... WE WENT ON HEAPS OF RIDES AT DREAM WORLD AND WHITE WATER WORLD.

IN MELBOURNE WE STAYED AT MY COUSINS, WE HAD SO MUCH FUN AND PLAYED MARCO POLO ALOT IN THEIR POOL.

WE SAW LOTS OF ANIMALS, I LOVE ANIMALS. WE SAW DRAGON LIZARDS HANGING AROUND THE CAFE AT DREAMWORLD.

MY FAVOURITE MEMORY WAS WHEN I WENT ON THE BIG DROP AT DREAM WORLD. THAT NIGHT I COULD FEEL THE FEELING IN MY BED OF WHAT IT FELT LIKE. IT FELT SCARY AND LIKE MY STOMACH WAS GOING TO DROP OUT. ALL OF US WENT ON IT WHICH WAS SOOOOOO COOL.

YAY GOING TO MELBOURNE in 14 more days and the GOLDCOAST in 14 more days to. I hope everyone has had a good holiday. I hope that you enjoy the pictures of my family and I during these Christmas holidays.

The real red riding hood

Hi, my name is Iain Wolf. You know me from a story called 'Red Riding Hood'.

It all started when I was having a wash in a lake, and I heard a noise. It was a girl with a red hood. She came up to me and said " What are you doing in a lake scary wolf?"

I got angry and started to get hungry for a snack. I got up and started to growl. The girl in the red hood ran away. She ran all the way to a house. I followed her.

When she got there, she got a basket out of her bag and it had delicious cupcakes in it, and flowers. Thyen she skipped into the house. When she got there she said "Hi Gran" and suddenly I jumped out and tied up gran and chucked her into the closet and I lifted up red riding hood and said "I was just having a wash in the lake so I smelled nice - that's all!"

"I've got to go!" Red said. "Was that all?"

"Yes." I said. "Okay, bye I've got to go, I have to make a cake for my brother."

And that is the real story.
